Have You Considered Hypnosis for Chronic Pain Relief?
Millions of people struggle with chronic pain every day…some try to just “cope” with it, some take medication, while others try alternative ideas such as acupressure or acupuncture.
What type of chronic pain do you suffer with, and how do find relief?
- Back Pain
- Abdominal Pain
Maybe you have tried some of the methods of pain relief I have mentioned, or even some different ones, but have you tried hypnosis?
Hypnosis for Pain
As one of the oldest types of pain relief known, hypnosis is used by various cultures in countries all over the world.
Unfortunately, many people think of hypnosis as merely entertainment and are totally unaware of the great tool it can be to positively change so many aspects of your life. It has helped people everywhere stop smoking, lose weight, build self confidence, end their phobias and so many other things.
If it can do all that, it can help you get relief from your pain!
Keep in mind that the use of hypnotherapy is not for eliminating pain that indicates a condition you need medical attention for, a condition that can and should be addressed by a medical professional.
As a hypnotherapist, my goal is to help you get rid of pain that is unnecessary and is not acting as a warning signal of a medical problem.
What Does Hypnosis Do?
When you are under hypnosis, you are in a totally relaxed, comfortable state, which means you are unable to be uncomfortable.
While you are in this state, hypnosis addresses the emotional side of your pain; the feelings of fear, anxiety, tension or depression that usually accompany chronic pain. Remember, when you are totally comfortable, these emotions cannot be felt.
While you are in this comfortable state, your unconscious mind is open to suggestions to transform or block out the pain, and relieve your discomfort.
Hypnosis can give you tools that will typically help relieve your pain in just a few sessions, plus you can learn techniques that will help you while at home.
